Mixing standing and floor exercises is not just a challenge to the body's different kinetic chains, it also hardens our cardiovascular system that needs to adjust each time we change position to take into account the pull of the Earth's gravity and the extra load required to get blood to circulate in the body and get to the muscles when we stand up again. This makes Up & Down harder than it appears which means you now have to do it and add EC, to boot.
